Karen & Ian’s wedding at the White Room in St. Augustine Florida was absolutely flawless! We started out at The Historic Bella Bay Inn right on the bay front in St. Augustine. Karen and Ian were both relaxed, and laid back before the wedding, which is the best way to be right before you walk down the aisle. We LOVE weddings at The White Room, and especially love when the ceremony is held inside. (It’s always nice to escape the Florida heat.) The ceremony was very touching, and it was easy for us to see while spending a little time alone with Karen & Ian, how crazy they are about each other.
It was a bit of deja vu for us. Only two weeks ago, we photographed a wedding that also started at Bella Bay and ended with the White Room. We set out with the goal of seeing the place with fresh eyes and finding a new way to tell the story of a White Room wedding day. Despite the similarities to the last wedding, there were so many interesting and delightful differences. No two weddings are ever the same, and that’s what makes the job so exciting and challenging for us week in and week out.
