Lauren & Austen’s White Room wedding was simply stunning. It was a beautiful day from start to finish, with so many wonderful little details to photograph. We started the day with Lauren getting ready at St. Augustine’s historic Bella Bay Inn, which is conveniently located right next to the White Room. Often times the morning of a wedding can get a little hectic, but Lauren was calm and relaxed. We headed over to the Casa Monica for some photos of Austen, who was the rare groom who actually had his own ideas for poses and locations for pictures of him and his groomsmen, which was refreshing and a lot of fun.
The ceremony was short and sweet and very touching. After the ceremony, we found some picturesque spots along the side streets of St. Augustine and were even surprisingly visited by a horse and carriage passing by (only in St. Augustine). The reception set up was gorgeous, with beautiful flowers and a bicycle-built-for-two theme. They put an unique twist on an old tradition by scooping bread pudding instead of cutting cake (fun and very delicious). To wrap it all up, they ended the night with a romantic last dance with the White Room all to themselves and then rushed downstairs for a sparkler sendoff.
Lauren and Austen were so kind and gracious to us throughout the day, and we had a great time taking their photos. We wish them nothing but the best.
