John and Cristina’s downtown Jacksonville wedding was a joy to be a part of. The day started at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel, where we had the fortunate surprise of seeing dolphins swimming along in the St. Johns River. The next stop was the beautiful Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for the ceremony and then onto the reception at the University Club on the top floor of the Riverplace Tower, which has a superb view of downtown Jacksonville.
It was one of those very rare weddings where everything actually started on time, thanks in large part to Cristina’s meticulous planning. She and John were wonderful to spend the day with, and I was so glad they made time at the end of the night for us to take a few nighttime portraits at Friendship Fountain. I was so honored to be able to photograph their wedding and wish them nothing but the best.
Also, thanks to Cailin with Focused Moments Photography for second shooting the wedding with me. She took some of my favorite pictures of the day and helped everything run smoothly.
