Morgan & Christopher’s Nocatee wedding was a blast! We started the day with Morgan and her eight bridesmaids at Mary Airheart, a cool little private hair salon, in San Marco. The salon had giant windows and bright white walls, great for pictures and a perfect little space for a bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. We left there for Fleming Island for the donning of the dress and then off to Orange Park United Methodist Church for the ceremony. The ceremony was sweet and beautiful, and by the time it had ended, the hot August afternoon had given way to rain and then much cooler overcast skies. The next stop was Nocatee for the reception. It was our first photographing at the Crosswater Hall in Nocatee, and we were more than happy with what it had to offer.
Following the formalities and dinner, the dance floor opened up and the party truly got started. It was by far the craziest wedding dance floor I’ve seen in over 100 weddings and made for so much fun to take photos of. People were routinely getting tossed up into the air and there was rarely a square inch of dance floor not covered by someone. Throw some cool lights and an awesome DJ set, and it was one unbelievable night to remember.
Morgan & Christopher left the evening in style through a tunnel of sparklers and headed out into the night. Morgan & Christopher were nothing but sweet and nice to us and two truly awesome people. We wish them nothing but the best.
