Stephanie & Brad’s Winterbourne Inn Wedding was wonderful. The atmosphere throughout the day was so relaxed and joyful, which isn’t a surprise at all given Stephanie & Brad’s constant upbeat demeanor. In the little time Cammy and I have known them, we’ve always seen them happy and seen them go with the flow, even as we all sweated bullets walking through the zoo during their summer engagement session. Luckily for everyone, the August weather for the wedding was relatively cool, and the outdoor ceremony went on without a hitch.
Stephanie & Brad’s wedding was filled with plenty of cool little details and personal touches, truly making it feel like its own unique love story. Stephanie hand-sketched the invitations, programs, and all of the signs, and she and Brad even found ways to put their own unique twist on other aspects of the day, too. They had lounge chairs for a cake topper. Stephanie’s brother wrote a song dedicated to her and Brad that he played at the ceremony, which was beautiful. They had their first dance on the front lawn of the Winterbourne Inn, instead of inside, which was a great idea and something I hadn’t seen at previous weddings we’ve photographed at the venue. And perhaps my favorite detail of the day, Brad removed Stephanie’s garter to the soulful sounds of Flight of the Conchords’ “Business Time.”
This was truly a wedding that it was a joy to be a part of and a pleasure to look back on. Best of luck to Stephanie and Brad, and thank you for letting us be a part of your big day.
